This sounds like an interesting exhibition. I think I'm going to have to find out if there is anything similar held in the UK.

I recently graduated from CMU (in computer science) and Grace, the robot in the picture, attended commencement :)
The robotics department at CMU is really pretty amazing, and their robot soccer team has won the robo-cup in past years. The cup rotates global locations each year, and it's wild to watch, so that might be a good event to look out for.
