Fresh Install
*Sigh* I love a fresh install of Windows... Everything is so responsive and feels crisp and clean.
Pity it doesn't last long.
I forgot to get the serial number from the email from M$ again before starting the install (which meant taking appart my pc and putting the old drive back in, just to read my mail). Other than that it wen smoothly.
Now to see if all my apps work...

Can't wait to receive Argotnaut's old laptop in the post one of these days. I'm sure she's cleaned it up real nice-like, too, which is almost as exciting as a new install or--in my pathetic case--as exciting as an entirely new computer!
Wish these clinic computers had all these modern plug-ins so I could see all the pretty links...
Oooh.. "new" computers! You can never have too many computers.
As long as they work... even if it's just to turn into a piece of furniture or to serve some aesthetic purpose.
The company I'm working for has a load of old machines in the basement and my manager said that I could have a few when I first started at the company. I didn't take them straight away though unfortunately because I was about to move house and by the time I was ready to take them off her hands she had changed her mind, muttering stuff about security issues etc.
I think she was just in a bad mood that day. I'll have to try again... Perhaps when she asks me about renewing my contract I'll tell her I'll consider it if she throws in 3 old machines and a raise *gin*.
