You might want to see if there is a local "locks of love" in your area. It is a non-pro that takes donations of hair for wigs, which the supply to young children going through cancer treatment.
Holy smokes--is that real?
Cutting your hair short when you've let it grow long is a real charge, for some reason. Almost a buzz, like drinking. Tht first "shissshh" with the shears right into the mass--a freakier sensation than it seems like it would be.
(However, I am currently trying to grow my hair *out* so I won't be experiencing *that* for a while.)
It only took you two years to get it that long? Damn, I'm jealous.
