Summer?
I hope that wasn't it for the summer... I've resorted to taking the tube in to work this morning, partly because the weather is miserable and partly because I'm not sure if I should go out for drinks with my collegues or watch Germany vs. Chzec... Drinks may be safer. I can't bear to watch Germany get knocked out.

Can't you do both: go out drinking while watching the games? Or are sports bars an American phenomenon?
It *would* make a certain kind of sense that drinking and getting riled up about sports could be considered somewhat dangerous...

Aye. Germany didn't make it.
It was a work thing. My collegues were going for drinks at a bar with a small screen and I'm not sure if they would have shown the game anyway seeing that England wasn't playing.
In hind sight I should have gone for the free drinks...
