Lousy bank holidays...
I got two blocks on the way to work before the fact that there wasn't any traffic to be seen on the roads triggered the realisation that it's a bank holiday today.

But wouldn't that be a hair-raisingly joyful realization? "I'm up early, I have the whole day ahead of me, and there's no work!" Of course, there's that whole paycheck issue.

Yeah, it was nice once I got home again. It was good to get an early start on the day.
